News: Gerardi Setting School

I am writing from Rome, Italy as I head into my last week of an intensive high jewelry stone setting program at the Gerardi Setting School.

Over the past two months I have been immersed in the techniques of high jewelry stone setting — from pavé and channel to invisible and bezel — learning from master setters whose craft spans generations. Rome has been an extraordinary backdrop for this kind of study. Working with precious materials in a city built on centuries of artisanship feels profoundly right.

This training is directly feeding into the next chapter for Embirikos. Expect to see the results in upcoming pieces — more complex stone arrangements, tighter craftsmanship, and designs that push further into sculptural fine jewelry territory.
